Fourth of July planning just got a whole lot easier!

Family and friends at the lake, back yard pot-lucks, hometown fireworks. Kids running and playing. Outfits with flags. Streets lined with flags. Fanfare of the Common Man, God Bless America and even Party in the USA will be playing from speakers all over as we gather to celebrate the people, the values and the ideas of this nation.
All of us at Epting, family and co-workers like to have fun. We also relish working hard to share our experience in hospitality. We cherish the opportunity to cook (and taste) the recipes crafted over decades and passed down from generations. While we most often serve through the catering company, we also host ourselves.
And how do you balance hosting and also having time to tell stories, push a kid on the swing, light sparklers and get everyone on the boat to go watch the fireworks? Plan the meals to make it easy!
Last year I was asking the mom of a good friend why she liked our products and how it helped her as she juggled the squadron of grandkids swarming around the house on weekends. "I get two pots going, drop in the food, and when it's done throw away the bags and have no clean up." Pretty short and sweet.
Another friend said they didn't want to have to grill, but knew from our catering and our Harry's BBQ days that our ribs and pork butts were amazing. We talked about our rubs, sauces and how the Southern Pride Rotisserie Smoker slow booked the butts and ribs to perfection, especially as we use local Pecan Wood to give that subtle and robust flavor we are known for allover. A little time in the oven at his lake house and he got the "oohs" and "ahs" like the fireworks finale.
So thanks for all of y'all that already know how to pair up some fresh salad and bread with the veggies and proteins that Chef Janice and the crew have prepped for you. If this is your first time, stock up and let us help you host this summer.
